A strange mixed bag of a season that worked out in my favor, all things considered. Although woefully lacking in obvious, dynamic setups, evapotranspiration from early spring rains helped a whole host of days on the High Plains to overperform their large-scale environments—and I cashed in on several of those between April and June. A decent year for hardcore chasers willing to swing at every pitch, but a snoozer for anyone looking for slam dunk setups.
